You need to wear ballroom dresses to participate in ballroom dancing. The dress you wear should go with the nature of the ballroom dance.
Pick a complete dance skirt or dress of bright shade that complements your complexion and figure. You should wear flesh color dance tights or stockings of waist length and matching your skin tone because your stockings will be seen when you do the spin or other dance movements.
Put on dance shoes or sandals with heels as it will not injure your feet. Try not to wear shoes with rubber soles.
If you have long hair, fix a bun firmly. To keep hair in place, utilize plenty of hair spray and bobby pins. Apply more makeup that you usually would wear.
You can opt to dress in regular street clothes; however, dance costumes give you more room for doing your dance steps.
